We have been learning to sketch our bodies and not use stick figures.  We used dye to add colour to our pictures.

My Kid pix story

I am learning to use the Kid pix programme to publish my story.  I am learning to write more than one sentence.

Maths

I am learning to write numbers that come before and after a number up to 10 and then to 20.

My Phonics

I am learning to listen, robot and write the first, middle and end sounds in words.  I can use this at reading time and story writing to help me write new words.

My Reading

I am learning to make the first sound in words I don't know so I can work out what the word will be.

Writing my numbers

In Room 3 we are learning to write our numbers independently. If I need help I can look up on the wall or get a number line.

Writing by Myself

In Room 3 I am learning to write all by myself.  We have special things to help us.   Our yellow card helps us to find the letters we want to write.   Our word wall helps us to write words.  Reading our stories helps us to write better too.
